We need a SUMMER PAGE (14 years and up) who would like to help in the Kids' Department. The ideal candidate would be available between mid-June and early August (max of 15 hrs/wk). The potential for continued weekend hours after Labor Day exists. The summer page will help with special projects, setting up for Story Time, and lending a hand with arts and crafts.
- ABOUT THIS POSITION: This position requires attention to detail, willingness to help children find books, ability to shelve books, and help with craft activities.
- DETAILS: This is a part-time substitute position with the hours yet to be determined.
- This position is eligible for paid leave. The starting salary is $9-$12 per hour depending on qualifications.
We are looking for the person who fits within our organizational value system and the ideal candidate must possess a willingness and interest in expanding ones' skills and learning new job activities. As our world changes our staff have greatly broadened their skills and taken on new tasks seemingly unrelated to "library skills." We want someone willing to seek out and take on new challenges.
LIBRARY EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED. WE WILL TRAIN YOU ON LIBRARY PARTICULARS.
