Experiencing how it feels—on the throne and off! Place everyone’s name in a bowl and pick one who will be the royal in charge for that day. The royal gets to choose the rules (within the family’s pre-established parameters) for the day allowing his/her highness to choose the activities, the menu, how he/she would like to be addressed, etc. The subjects have to play along and do the royal’s bidding for a day—keeping in mind everyone will have a turn being in charge!
